Wikisplodebig.gif For the people that have lost their sense of humor, the nerds at Wikipedia have an article about Uncyclopedia.

Uncyclopedia is a "encyclopedia" that claims to be funny, but it's just a mess of ALL CAPS and Russian Reversals. IN SOVIET RUSSIA, PHRASE REVERSES YOU! Uncyclopedia is here. No, wait, it's here. Arrgh! Which one is it?

History[edit | edit source]

It was 2004, and there was a void in the humor world. Online humor was not yet widespread, and the only place where humor would be successful was Wikipedia, but Wikipedia was only for "serious people". In early (very early) 2005, Jonathan Huang and someone else started Uncyclopedia. It wasn't funny at all, but somehow, it became very successful. Today, Uncyclopedia has about 37,000 articles.

Content[edit | edit source]

Most of Uncyclopedia's content is stolen from Decyclopedia, making it less funny.

The Other Uncyclopedia[edit | edit source]

Here is a description of the other Uncyclopedia from a user who visited it:

You know Uncyclopedia, your favorite content-free encyclopedia, right? Well, you may not know that there exists another, less-known version of it. I was browsing the Internet one day when I tripped and fell down a chasm, bumping my head and passing out in the process. When I woke up, I discovered that I was in another Uncyclopedia. This Uncyclopedia looked like the Uncyclopedia I was familiar with, but there were a few minor differences (the article count was slightly lower than it should be, for example). Afraid of this unfamiliar place, I tried touching it. So far, nothing has happened.
